During the month of July, Guardian Pharmacy of Jacksonville implemented an Employee Appreciation Month. Each department was assigned a dedicated week where they were celebrated by their colleagues. Prior to the month, employees were asked to share fun facts about themselves. During each department’s celebration week, the fun facts were used to introduce a new team member each day!
To make Employee Appreciation Month more memorable, each team was tasked with creating themed spirit days every day, work areas were decorated, treats with thankyou cards were provided and appreciation messages were posted in the breakroom! Each week concluded with superlatives voted on by team members. The superlatives included most positive and optimistic, most detail-oriented, most solution-oriented, most self-motivated, early bird: most likely to come in early, night owls: most likely to stay late and many more!
We are so grateful for every team member, every single day. Each team member is essential, and we couldn’t accomplish what we are able to without every department communicating and working closely together.
