What Do You Like Most About Your Job?
Making a difference. I enjoy working closely with facility management and their staff to bring a good quality of life to their residents. Since we are much more than a pharmacy, we become an integral part of the facility, and we see the positive effects we bring to residents of our communities every day.
Your pharmacy’s greatest accomplishments have been…
The development of a team of professionals who put the quality of service above all else. We have built a culture that treats the residents of our communities as we would our own families.
What is the best piece of advice you could give customers?
Create a solid communications link between the facility and the pharmacy. It should be based on trust and knowledge that your needs are going to be met seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Our customers need to understand that there are a lot of moving parts in our relationship. We are more than an order taker; we go above and beyond to get the best result possible – the right prescription, at the right dose, to the right patient, and at the right time at the fairest price.
If you really knew me, you’d know…
I’m a wine connoisseur. I enjoy knowing everything about what it takes to make good wine, the story of the vineyard and what makes the wine special. I collect all types of wine and really enjoy sharing them with my friends and family.
If you could have dinner with one famous person…
John Wooden. I love basketball, especially at the college level. He was such an inspiration to his players and to all he met. I would enjoy sitting there talking basketball and life. John is well known for his inspiration to life principals with the Pyramid of Success, something I have always tried to emulate.
People would be surprised to know…
Together, with my two sons and my brother, we have traveled to the Final Four for over 15 seasons. We all enjoy traveling around the country to each event, talking basketball, meeting people, sampling the local cuisine, and watching the games!
